How should I choose a doctor?
Answer - Choosing a doctor
When choosing a doctor, the most important thing is to find a doctor who will listen to you. Choose a doctor with experience and one who emphasizes “prevention” medicine. Unfortunately, too many doctor’s offices have become little more than a prescription farm – ordering various tests and medications without actually taking time to listen to you. At Performance Medicine, we care and we listen. We'll treat the whole person, not just the symptoms.

What are bio-identical (natural) hormones?
Answer - Bio-identical Hormones
The term “bio-identical hormones” is a term that refers to a hormone that is chemically the same (down to a molecular level) to those produced by the human body. These hormones, such as estradiol, progesterone and testosterone, are usually made from yams or soy and are indistinguishable from what the body makes. Dr Rogers feels that they are safer and work better than non-natural/synthetic hormone chemicals. Balancing your hormones can go a long way to solving sleep, weight, mood and low sex drive issues!
Will Hormone Replacement help me?
Answer - Hormone Replacement
Restoring and rebalancing your hormones can improve your sleep, mood, cognitive thinking, sex drive as well as improve bone density, decrease heart disease, hot flashes, night sweats and more. With the medical advances available today, people are living TWICE as long as they did 100 years ago, and naturally declining hormone levels can result in a quality of life that is less than you imagined for the second half of your life. We believe having proper hormone balance is one of the keys to good health and will work with you to get the balance just right!
