Recommended Vitamins and Supplements

At Performance Medicine we highly recommend vitamins and supplements to help you maintain optimal health. We are going to continually update this post with the most “up to date” recommendations per age group. As of today, this is what we recommend!

Age 20-30 

  1. Multivitamin – Two Per Day

  2. Omega 3 (with DHA+EPA)

  3. Vitamin D3 – 5,000 IU’s/Day

  4. Vitamin C – 1,000MG/Day

  5. Check Iron (Women) – Add if Low

  6. DigestShield (Co-Probiotic)


Age 30-40 

  1. Multivitamin – Two Per Day

  2. Omega 3 (with DHA+EPA)

  3. Vitamin D3 – 5,000 IU’s/Day

  4. Vitamin C – 2,000MG/Day

  5. Check Iron (Women) – Add if Low

  6. DigestShield (Co-Probiotic)

  7. CoQ10 – 100MG/Day


Age 40-50

  1. Multivitamin – Two Per Day

  2. Omega 3 (with DHA+EPA)

  3. Vitamin D3 with K2 – 5,000 IU’s/Day

  4. Vitamin C – 2,000MG/Day

  5. Check Iron (Women) – Add if Low

  6. DHEA (Note: Check Hormone Levels)

  7. DigestShield (Co-Probiotic)

  8. CoQ10 – 100MG/Day

  9. Magnesium – 500MG/Day


Age 50+

  1. Multivitamin – Two Per Day

  2. Omega 3 (with DHA+EPA)

  5. Check Iron (Women) – Add if Low

  6. Zinc – 50MG (Men)

Dr. Tom Rogers is an experienced family doctor with 38 years of practice, and is board-certified in family, sports, and integrative medicine.

 

Since 1986, he has been dedicated to delivering personalized, patient-centered care, and for over 18 years, he has managed his own private practice.

Dr. Rogers founded Performance Medicine to prioritize patient care over insurance constraints, ensuring each patient receives individualized attention. He is well-known for his expertise in hormone balance and his commitment to guiding patients on their unique health journeys, making Performance Medicine a leader in integrative health care.

Outside of his practice, Dr. Rogers enjoys playing guitar, biking, pickleball, and reading, which help him maintain a holistic approach to health and wellness.
