Andy Rogers

Andy Rogers serves patients of Performance Medicine as a Certified Physicians Assistant. After completing his Bachelors of Science degree in Biochemistry, Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of Tennessee, he went on to complete a Master’s of Medical Science at Mercer
College of Health Professions.

Andy has held positions at Physicians Plasma Alliance and the Cystic Fibrosis Clinic at East TN Children’s Hospital assisting with research and patient care. His graduate studies rotations included top-rated endocrinology clinics including Atlanta Diabetes Associates, Van Meter Pediatric Endocrinology, and ICU at Piedmont Hospital, one of the highest acuity facilities in the nation.

As a type 1 diabetic for over two decades, Andy finds his passion to treat, educate and inform diabetic children and adults incredibly satisfying. As a means of outreach, Andy hosts a Carb Watch podcast which focuses on diabetic issues. He feels that Performance
Medicine is the one clinic where staff and providers go above and beyond for your care. It is a place where patients are respected and listened to during each visit. He welcomes you to visit and see for yourself.
