Quercetin Max

Welcome everyone to another edition of the Doctor’s Note where we talk about what’s on our minds when it comes to your health.

If you’ve been listening to our podcasts for a while, you might remember a supplement called Quercetin. Quercetin was a big deal during COVID-19 due to its impressive ability to modulate the immune system and help suppress that dreaded cytokine storm. The good news today is that there’s even a better form of Quercetin available - one that amplifies its benefits by making it far more absorbable, Quercetin Phytosome (DOCTOR ROGERS Quercetin Max).

In this week’s podcast, I do a deep dive into what makes Quercetin Max so potent, how it stacks up against its older counterpart, and why you might want to consider adding it to your daily regimen, especially if you’re battling allergies or respiratory issues. Check out the full episode on YouTube and Spotify

PODCAST NOTES

  • During the COVID-19 pandemic, Quercetin was found to be effective in reducing the cytokine storm, a severe immune overreaction that was a significant cause of mortality. It highlighted Quercetin’s potential in managing inflammation and immune system overreactions.

  • Quercetin impacts immunity and inflammation primarily by acting on leukocytes and targeting numerous intracellular signaling pathways. It interacts with specific kinases, phosphatases, enzymes, and membrane proteins vital for cellular function. Importantly, Quercetin inhibits the production and release of histamine and other allergic and inflammatory substances, potentially by stabilizing the cell membranes of mast cells.

  • Quercetin and onions are two of the most studied flavonoids. Remember, flavonoids are polyphenol metabolites found in plants. They are the good parts of a lot of vegetables, fruits, even coffee and tea. Flavonoids have a range of health benefits including antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anticancer properties. They also may lower your risk of heart attack and stroke.

  • One major challenge with Quercetin is its poor absorption in the GI tract, which limits its effectiveness. This has been a significant barrier to maximizing the benefits of Quercetin for health.

  • A breakthrough has been made with a new form of Quercetin called Quercetin Phytosome. By complexing Quercetin with phospholipids, this new formulation achieves 20 times higher bioavailability, making it far more effective.

  • Quercetin is known for its potent antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anticancer properties. It also holds promise in reducing the risk of heart attacks and strokes, adding to its profile as a versatile and beneficial supplement.

  • A key benefit of Quercetin is its ability to regulate the immune system. Proper immune regulation is crucial for overall health, as dysfunction can lead to various diseases, including autoimmune conditions. Quercetin helps maintain immune balance, potentially reducing the incidence of such diseases.

  • Quercetin has shown significant effectiveness in treating respiratory illnesses and allergies, which are highly prevalent. DOCTOR ROGERS new Quercetin Max formulation (aka Quercetin Phytosome) includes additional beneficial ingredients, enhancing its impact on respiratory health and making it a valuable tool, especially during the allergy seasons and periods of respiratory illness.

  • Quercetin Max is enhanced with N-Acetyl Cysteine (NAC), Nettle Extract, and Vitamin C. NAC boosts glutathione levels, an important antioxidant for immune function, and also acts as a mucolytic agent, aiding respiratory health. Nettle Extract inhibits histamine and prostaglandin production, reducing inflammation, and aiding people with mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS). Of course, Vitamin C plays a vital role in supporting your immune system.

  • Quercetin Max, now available at all Performance Medicine locations, has significantly reduced my own symptoms of itchy eyes and nasal congestion (common issues in our East Tennessee area).

Quercetin Max stands out as an exceptional supplement for those battling respiratory illness, allergies, sinuses, and seeking overall immune support. By leveraging advanced technology to significantly enhance its bioavailability, this supplement offers a potent solution to common health challenges. Personally, I’ve experienced remarkable relief from allergy symptoms, and can confidently recommend Quercetin Max for its wide range of health benefits.

Remember, investing in your health means understanding and utilizing effective, natural solutions that may work in harmony with your body. Look into Quercetin Max. It could be a game changer for you!

Stay educated. Stay healthy.

Till next week.
