Tom Rogers, MD believes that you can take control over your health- and that you can create a better life for yourself as you age. That’s why he is dedicated to learning why patients feel the way they do, and attacking these root causes. Dr. Rogers and his team do the hard work of taking the time to listen and empathize with patients throughout East Tennessee.

Dr. Rogers is a practicing Family Physician, author of the Total Health Guide, and nationally recognized specialist in Men’s Health, Bio-Identical Hormone Therapy, and Anti-Aging. He is the Medical Director and founder of Performance Medicine, which has 3 locations in East Tennessee. He also serves as Medical Director for Apple Health and Wellness in Knoxville, TN, a board member of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and is the Medical Doctor on Daytime Doc, a weekly television segment of Daytime Tri-Cities that focuses on health and wellness.

Dr. Rogers specializes in Integrative Medicine, a patient centric approach that focuses on treating illness and promoting wellness. He earned his board certification, as well as a fellowship in Integrative Medicine from The American Academy of Anti-Aging (A4M). In 2013, Dr. Rogers was named the Tennessee Men’s Health Network Doctor of the Year. In 2016, at the recommendation of Mike Leventhal, President of the Tennessee Men’s Health Network, Dr. Rogers was invited to the White House along with other industry leaders to attend a forum on Men’s Health.

Dr. Rogers believes there are many different avenues to live a better and healthier life, which is why he works closely with other leading healthcare providers in each Performance Medicine community. In addition to seeing patients every day, Dr. Rogers also played a substantial role in CityView Magazine’s lead story “Hormones: A Balanced Approach”, by Rebecca Whalen.
